My professional journey began 25 years ago as a sales assistant with a brokerage firm that had a very famous commercial in the 1980s. After advancing through numerous roles of increasing responsibility, I was bitten by the entrepreneur bug and struck out on my own in the late1990s. Never one to take the “easy” road, I took on the successive challenges of starting a business, adding to our family with my husband of 21 years (enter our twins) and weathering the 2000-2002 stock market collapse in just a few short years.
While I enjoyed building a successful financial planning business, I always felt there was more to planning than just spreadsheets, account statements and 401(k) balances. This is where my journey really began. I set out to learn all I could about merging the inner and outer games of wealth, life balance and success, studying with such thought leaders as the Sudden Money Institute and Kinder Institute for Life Planning.
Over the last 7 years, I have integrated these key learnings to build a very successful holistic wealth management business that focuses on the “whole” client. I bring a keen intuition, deep curiosity and appreciation for people to the table, interwoven with a practical approach to the key strategies of running a successful business that supports my life.
My commitment to the balance between life & work allowed me to take a 5 ½-week cross-country vacation across the Western United States in the summer of 2009 without my business missing a beat. My number one goal is to positively impact as many business owners/entrepreneurs as possible by teaching them the tools, techniques and mindset that will allow them to grow their businesses while living a fully integrated life.
